Featured #GateWayGrad Ci’Mone Rogers
Ci’Mone Rogers was the only girl in a family of 13 kids. In high school, Ci’Mone wanted to join the robotics club and was originally told the club was for boys only. But, that didn't stop her, she asked the club's instructors to meet with her after school on days the club didn't meet so she could learn more about robotics. Now, she is well on her way to a future in Bioinformatics Science.
During her time at GateWay she has taken advantage of several student support services including EXCEL and TRIO. She will graduate in May with her Associate of Business & Computer Information Systems degree. Additionally, she does not let any scholarship opportunity pass her by and her persistence has paid off. She has received enough scholarship money to pay for her education so that she will leave GateWay with no student debt and move on to ASU for a BA & Masters degree.
Congratulations Ci’Mone!
