On your first visit, the patient will be evaluated by a licensed OT practitioner to determine a patient’s individual needs. A medical history, physical evaluation and goal assessment will be conducted to create the patient’s plan of care. Future visits will be led by students under the supervision of a licensed OT practitioner. Patients should expect to be provided with home exercises and patient education in functional activities. Exercise programs, task modifications and patient education will be recommended as appropriate.
