GateWay Community College discloses, in compliance with federal regulations and program requirements, the following information pertaining to enrollment diversity and graduation rates of each campus.

Washington Campus 

Enrollment

In Fall 2024, enrollment of all full-time undergraduate students in credit programs was 1,097. Of these, 64% were female and 36% were male. 3% were American Indian/Alaska Native, 2% were Asian/Pacific Islander, 11% were Black, 50% were Hispanic, 27% were White, 5% were Two or More Races, and 2% were Non-Resident Alien.

Pell Recipients

Federal Pell Grant recipients comprised 54% of the full-time enrolled students in Fall 2024. Of these, 70% were female and 30% were male. 78% of the Pell recipients identified themselves as members of a racial or ethnic minority.

Retention Rates

52.2% of the first-time, full-time undergraduate students who enrolled in Fall 2023 returned in Fall 2024. The part-time student retention rate was 38.1%.

Graduation and Transfer Rates

The 3-year graduation rate for first-time, full-time degree/certificate-seeking students entering in Fall 2021 was 32%. The 3-year transfer-out rate was 20%.

In FY 2022, enrollment of all full-time undergraduate students was 491. Of these 64% were female and 36% were male. 2% were American Indian/Alaska Native, 6% were Asian/Pacific Islander, 9% were Black, Non-Hispanic, 50% were Hispanic, 29% were White, Non-Hispanic, and 0% were Non-Resident Alien.
Pell Recipients
Federal Pell Grant recipients comprised 29% of the full-time enrolled students in FY 2022. Of these, 63% were female and 37% were male. 75% of the Pell recipients identified themselves as members of a racial or ethnic minority.
Retention Rates
74% of the first-time, full-time undergraduate students who enrolled in Fall 2021 returned in Fall 2022 or completed their program.
Graduation and Transfer Rates
The graduation rate for full-time students entering in FY 2019-20 was 33%. The transfer-out rate was 0%.

Registration Fee $15 per term of attendance
Tuition $5-$6 per clock hour depending on program (subject to change)
Lab Fees varies, covers the cost of all consumable materials used in each training program and varies by program
Book Fees varies, reflect the cost of the textbooks at the time of purchase and are subject to change without notice
Other Fees varies, some programs require students to purchase clothing, special equipment and/or take licensing and certification tests
